In an effort to reach more customers, I’ve decided to add smaller images to the shop. I’ve created a new section, Under $20 USD, for the 5×7’s. To ensure the images are the best they can be given the smaller size, I’m “re-mastering” everything. It takes a while, but I’m a perfectionist, so it has to be done. A fun Labor Day weekend is in my immediate future, I fear.
As always, comments are welcome.
The car wash from the car’s point of view
I received permission to stay in the MINI at the car wash, and this is the result. It was shot on my iPhone and processed on the iPad. Please ask questions, leave praise, or throw virtual rotten tomatoes at me via the comments, below.
Canal Road, Dismal Swamp, Camden County, NC
I went back to the Dismal Swamp State Park this afternoon to try out the D7100. It had been raining on and off all day and looked like it might start up again any minute, so I had to work fast. I captured over 60 images in twenty minutes.
I don’t know why I was so worried about upgrading to a new camera – I’m very pleased with the amount of detail the D7100 records. It reminds me of the difference between a 35mm negative and medium format roll film.
I’ve worked on six images so far, and I’m happy with all of them. Some will make it into the shop as new images. Some may replace similar images made with the old camera. Normally I wouldn’t do that, but the detail is so good with the new camera that I may just have to.
